BOLTON, ON – On Saturday, May 10th, M&M; Meats all across Canada celebrated the 20th Annual Charity BBQ to raise money to support Crohn’s and Colitis research. Here in Dufferin-Caledon, both the Orangeville and Bolton M&M; Meats franchises served up hot dogs and hamburgers to meet this year’s national fundraising goal of $2 million. In Bolton, the local Rotary Club was on hand to lend its support to this important cause.
Local Member of Parliament, David Tilson, participated in both the Orangeville and Bolton bar-be-ques. “I commend our local franchises for their continued support and participation in this wonderful event. M&M; Meat Shops has raised more than $14.5 million for medical research dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis over the last 20 years,” said Mr. Tilson. “This is an incredible achievement and I congratulate M&M; Meat Shops across Canada for giving the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada a public voice.”
