BOLTON, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon hosted his fourth annual Seniors Information Expo, on Friday, November 28th, at the Caledon Seniors Centre, in Bolton.

Many local residents and members of the Caledon Seniors Centre participated in the Expo and listened to presentations on several topics relevant to seniors including: Tax Information for Seniors, Safe Internet Use, Income Security Programs, and Funeral Planning. Special guest speakers included representatives from the Canada Revenue Agency, FileBank, Service Canada, and Egan Funeral Home.

Mr. Tilson was the Master of Ceremonies for the Expo and later commented, “I was pleased with the great turn-out of our senior community today. The topics covered are important issues that have been raised with me by seniors of Dufferin-Caledon.” Mr. Tilson went on to say, “I know this period of economic uncertainty has many seniors concerned about their pensions, investments, and taxes. I hope each senior took something useful away from these presentations that will assist them.”
