BOLTON, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his 3rd annual spring open house at his Bolton constituency office location on Thursday, May 24th. Mr. Tilson co-hosted the event with the offices of John Tory, Member of Provincial Parliament (Dufferin-Peel-Wellington-Grey) and the Caledon Chamber of Commerce.
The three offices located at Hopcroft Plaza, 12596 Highway 50, first opened their doors in May 2005 and have become a most convenient and accessible location for Caledon residents by being grouped together under the same roof, offering valuable services and information on a variety of governmental and business matters.
Mr. Tilson and the other two offices greeted and chatted with visitors and enjoyed a variety of refreshments. Mr. Tilson was asked to comment on his thoughts on his decision to open a Bolton constituency office in 2005, “This was an election promise I made to the people of Caledon in 2004. I represent a geographically-large riding and believe it is important to be as accessible as possible to my constituents. Since opening the doors in Bolton in 2005, my office continues to serve more and more constituents each month and I hope Caledon residents will continue to take advantage of its location.”
