ORANGEVILLE, ON – David Tilson, the Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, attended a special meeting of the Auto Caucus, held on Monday, September 10th, in Cambridge, Ontario.
Mr. Tilson, a member of the Auto Caucus joined other Members, as well as the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry, to discuss the ongoing challenges facing the automotive industry in Canada. Minister Prentice spent two hours with the Caucus, where they discussed information provided.
Following the meeting, Mr. Tilson was approached for comment on the outcome of the meeting, “I believe it was an excellent meeting where a great deal was shared and Members of the Auto Caucus were able to provide Minister Prentice with much background going into the fall session. The automotive industry is an important issue for our Government, as it affects my constituents and Canadians all across Canada.”
