Bolton, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, met with Prime Minister Stephen Harper, last Wednesday. The meeting was held in Toronto and included other members from the Greater Toronto Area Caucus. Prime Minister Harper was seeking input from the Caucus for the upcoming Speech from the Throne, scheduled for March 3rd and the Budget, scheduled for March 4th.

Following the meeting, Mr. Tilson was asked for comment on what he felt his riding is hoping to see in Budget 2010, “I’ve heard from many constituents over the past few weeks and the economy still appears to be an important issue in my riding, which I conveyed to the Prime Minister. It was also a common sentiment shared by my fellow GTA Caucus members.”

The Prime Minister met with the National Caucus last Friday for further discussions on Budget 2010 and other national issues.
