Week of August 28 – September 01, 2021
The fall season is upon us once again. The leaves are starting to turn and the kids will be back in school shortly. It has been a fantastic summer filled with warm, although unsettled weather and many excellent events across Dufferin-Caledon. Although it is difficult to say goodbye to the summer, we have much to look forward to this fall right here at home, as fall fair season is just around the corner!
Fall fairs are an excellent time to encourage and witness community spirit. They offer something to all age groups - whether it be a ride on the ferris wheel, eating cotton candy, viewing farm animals, or competing in preserve contests. I would like to use this week’s journal to highlight the many fairs we can enjoy right here in Dufferin-Caledon this fall.
