On May 19, 2010, David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon stopped in at Korten Jewellers to congratulate Paul and Christine Korsten on the 50th anniversary of their establishment.
“This anniversary is particularly special because it reminds us of the importance of supporting independent local businesses, such as Korsten Jewellers”, said Tilson. He noted that, “Korstens’ is a cornerstone of Orangeville’s downtown business community”.
“The long lasting success of Korsten Jewellers is a testament to their high standards of quality and attention to the needs of customers,” said Tilson, “and we’re lucky to have them here in Orangeville”.
