Tilson Signs Diamond Jubilee Message Book On Behalf Of Dufferin-Caledon Residents

OTTAWA – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, today signed a book of special congratulatory messages from Members of Parliament to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee.

The message Mr. Tilson wrote is as follows:

“Your Majesty, On behalf of the residents of The County of Dufferin and The Town of Caledon I congratulate you in achieving this great milestone. Our thanks in your wonderful service to The United Kingdom and Canada. David Tilson MP.”

The book is part of a week of celebrations taking place on Parliament Hill. There is a special photographic display in the Library of Parliament showing highlights of Her Majesty’s 60-year reign. In addition, a bronze maquette of Jack Harman’s Elizabeth II equestrian statue was unveiled on Wednesday, February 8.

The book will be presented to Her Majesty later in February.
