BOLTON, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, was presented with a commemorative The War Amps envelope issued by Canada Post, as well as a special 100th anniversary pin by his constituent, Miss Calisi Collura, and her mom, Ms. Tina Collura, at his Bolton constituency office on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

“It was an honour to meet Calisi and her mom and to receive The War Amps 100th anniversary commemorative envelope and pin to mark an incredible milestone for this exceptional organization,” said Mr. Tilson. “I’ve been a proud supporter of The War Amps since I was a teenager and I commend the outstanding work Calisi and her mom are doing on behalf of the organization throughout the Region of Peel. Their outstanding dedication ensures the continued success of The War Amps in our community and across Canada.”

Mr. Tilson learned about the work Calisi and her mom perform across Peel to raise awareness of The War Amps, as well as the commemorative envelope as part of Canada Post’s 2018 stamp program. The envelope, which features photos and a summary, captures the organization’s long and unique history of delivering important programs to amputees across Canada.
