November 29, 2021

BOLTON, Ontario – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his annual Seniors Information Expo together with the Caledon Seniors Centre today at the Centre’s Bolton location.

“Today, we have an excellent group of speakers covering a wide range of topics of interest to our local senior community, said Mr. Tilson. “Events, like this one, provide seniors with invaluable information on many local programs and services available to them, to ensure they remain healthy, active, and engaged in their communities. This is also an important goal for our Government, as we remain committed to improving the quality of life of seniors.”

Members of the Caledon Seniors Centre, as well as members of Caledon’s senior community, joined Mr. Tilson in listening to presentations on four topics: senior frauds and scams; brain health; mobility and hearing aid products; as well as supportive housing and health services. Special guest speakers included: Constable Brenda Evans (Caledon O.P.P.); Karen Phair (Alzheimer Society Peel); Faisal Minhas (Medical Care Store); and Caroline Petrie, Lisa Saunders, and Darlene Lajoie (Caledon Community Services). A lunch was served following the event that was kindly provided by the Egan Funeral Home - Bolton.

Mr. Tilson performed the role emcee for the event now in its ninth year.
