Tilson hosts 7th annual seniors information expo in Bolton

BOLTON, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his annual Seniors Information Expo with the Caledon Seniors’ Centre on Friday, November 18th at the Centre’s Bolton location.
Members of the Caledon Seniors’ Centre, as well as members of Caledon’s senior community, joined Mr. Tilson in observing and participating in presentations on several topics of interest to local seniors including: financial planning and management; nutrition and wellness; Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) programs; as well as safe medication use. Special guest speakers included representatives from TD Waterhouse Financial Planning (Bolton), Health First Wellness Centre, Service Canada, and Shoppers Drug Mart (Bolton). A lunch was served following the event that was kindly provided by the Egan Funeral Home.
Mr. Tilson acted as the emcee for the event and later commented, “The Senior Expos continue to be a large success across the riding. I’m very pleased to be working with our outstanding senior groups to bring valuable information on topics of importance to the local senior community.”
