Tilson congratulates team ontario on winning scotties tournament of hearts

OTTAWA, ON – This afternoon, Dufferin-Caledon MP David Tilson had the opportunity to meet and congratulate Rachel Homan and her Team Ontario rink from the Ottawa Curling Club on winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts on February 24, 2021 at the K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario.

“Curling is such a Canadian game and it’s really exciting to see a new generation from Ontario beat the best the rest of Canada has to offer,” said Mr. Tilson. “Rachel Homan and her teammates will certainly do Canada proud at the upcoming Women’s World Championships in Riga, Latvia later in March.”

Mr. Tilson met and congratulated Skip Rachel Homan, Lead Lisa Weagle, Second Alison Kreviazuk, Third Emma Miskey and Fifth Stephanie LeDrew on Parliament Hill in advance of a reception in their honour by the Speaker of the House of Commons. They were later recognized in the House and congratulated by all MPs.
