Tilson announces federal funding For the OrangevillE Blues and Jazz Festival
Orangeville, Ontario –
As part of the Government of Canada’s Building Communities through Arts and Heritage program, David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, today announced $37,900 in federal funding to support the 13th edition of the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival.
“I am pleased the Government of Canada is once again showing its support for the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival—an important fixture on our community’s cultural calendar-since 2011, the Department support for the Festival totals $137,600 said Tilson.”
This year the festival expects 35,000 visitors to experience a broad and eclectic range of blues and jazz music in Orangeville’s historic downtown core from June 4 to 7, 2015.
