M.P. David Tilson Announces Canada Summer Jobs Funding
OTTAWA – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, was pleased today to announce $225,000 in Canada Summer Jobs funding which will create 108 summer jobs for young people in Dufferin-Caledon.
“Creating summer jobs for students benefits not only youth and employers, but also the economy as a whole,” said Mr. Tilson. “Canada Summer Jobs is yet another excellent example of how our Government is creating jobs and economic growth.”
“Canada has a strong record of growth and job creation during the economic recovery. However, even at the best of times, it can be difficult for a young person to break into the job market,” Mr. Tilson said. “Canada Summer Jobs funding makes it easier for young people to enter the work force and gain experiences and skills they can use to advance their studies and careers.”
