Orangeville, ON - David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, celebrated Canada's 145th birthday at various venues this past weekend. Sunday morning, Mr. Tilson made a visit to Downey's Farm to take part in the annual Canada Day Strawberry Festival. Following Downey's Farm, Mr. Tilson attended the first ever Citizenship Ceremony held in Orangeville at the Legion, where thirty individuals from surrounding areas, representing several countries, became Canadian Citizens.
Later in the afternoon, Mr. Tilson attended the Orangeville Legion's annual Canada Day ceremony and cake cutting. Following the Legion ceremony, Mr. Tilson participated in the town of Shelburne's Canada Day Opening Ceremony held at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex.
