Tilson Hosts 8th Annual Caledon East East Seniors Information Expo With Caledon Seniors' Council

CALEDON EAST, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his eighth annual Caledon East Seniors Information Expo, together with the Caledon Seniors’ Council, today at St. James Anglican Church in Caledon East.
“It’s always a pleasure to work with the Caledon Seniors’ Council in bringing this popular event to the local senior community,” said Mr. Tilson. “I’m sure the valuable information presented here today by the very knowledgeable and experienced speakers will help local seniors in addressing some of their day-to-day concerns.”
Members of the Caledon Seniors’ Council, as well as local residents, attended the event to observe and participate in presentations on four topics, which included: Senior Frauds and Scams; E-mailing and Safe Internet Use; Wills and Estates; as well as Tax Information for Seniors. Following the presentations, the Egan Funeral Home provided lunch for attendees.
Special guest speakers on the selected topics included: Stephanie Hammond (Caledon O.P.P.); David Mielke (FileBank IT Services); Patricia L. Sproule Ward (Patricia L. Sproule Ward Law Office); and Provincial Constable Stephanie Hammond (Caledon O.P.P.).
Mr. Tilson performed the role of emcee for the event.
