Ottawa, ON – Tilson took the stage Tuesday night in front of local media and supporters to give his victory speech after being declared the winner by a wide margin.

“I am proud and honoured to once again be your voice in Ottawa and I thank you for your support,” Tilson said. “I will continue to work hard for each of you and the residents of Dufferin-Caledon as part of the Conservative team.”

After a hard-fought campaign, the people of Dufferin-Caledon gave Tilson a strong mandate to continue representing the region. Tilson won with over 53 per cent of the vote.

“You have chosen a party and a leader that have a plan to take Canada through global economic uncertainty and will make our country stronger than ever before,” Tilson stated. “Our Government will continue to provide the modest and achievable action that will provide practical help for all Canadian families.”

Tilson also thanked volunteers for their tireless efforts and his support staff for helping run a smooth campaign.
