Tilson hosts annual Seniors Information Expo in Caledon East

BOLTON, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his annual Seniors Information Expo with the Caledon Seniors Council, on Friday, November 19th, at St. James Anglican Church, in Caledon East.

– David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his annual Seniors Information Expo with the Caledon Seniors Council, on Friday, November 19th, at St. James Anglican Church, in Caledon East. 

Members of the Seniors Council, as well as many local residents joined Mr. Tilson in observing and participating in presentations on several topics of interest to local seniors including: the license renewal process for seniors 80 years of age and older; financial and estate planning; consumer protection; as well as dental health and dental care. Special guest speakers included representatives from Canadian Pro Drivers Inc., Freedom 55 Financial, Serenity of Hope, OPP Caledon Detachment, and Bolton Family Dental Centre.

Mr. Tilson acted as the emcee for the Expo and later commented, “Today`s presentations were based on topics that our local senior community expressed an interest in learning more and our speakers definitely shared a wealth of valuable information. I`m pleased to be providing this service to my constituents and appreciate our local businesses and organizations taking the time to share their knowledge and expertise with this group.”
