BOLTON, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, hosted his eleventh annual Bolton Seniors Information Expo, together with the Caledon Seniors’ Centre today at the Centre’s Bolton location.
“I sincerely appreciate the Caledon Seniors’ Centre’s continued support in co-hosting this popular event with me and their dedication to bringing many outstanding programs and services to senior citizens in our community,” said Mr. Tilson. “I believe it’s imperative that all senior citizens have access to valuable, relevant information to help address the important issues and concerns they have. Senior Expos, like this one today with presentations by experts in a variety of fields, assist in providing that access to senior citizens.”
Members of the Caledon Seniors’ Centre, as well as many local senior citizen residents, attended the event to observe and participate in presentations on four topics: Reverse Mortgages - Pros and Cons; Skincare for Aging Skin: Tax Information for Seniors; as well as Recognizing Allergy Symptoms and How to Rebalance the Body.
Special guest speakers on the selected topics included: Shannon Turnbull, Roy Deeks, and Sean Russell (The Mortgage Centre – Turnbull Financial, Bolton); Rose Marchese (Rosehaven Spa); Jeff Christian (Christian & Co. Chartered Accountants); and Daniel Lacoste, R.Ac. (The Allergy Clearing Center). Following the presentations, the Egan Funeral Home provided lunch for attendees.
Mr. Tilson performed the role of emcee for the event.
