Shelburne, ON – David Tilson, Member of Parliament for Dufferin-Caledon, was welcomed for a tour of KTH Manufacturing in Shelburne, by Dean Powel, Manager of Human Resources and Shane Hall, General Manager of Production.

Mr. Powel and Mr. Hall described the flow of the auto parts fabrication plant. Outlining the considerable skill and expertise required by their associates in the areas of blank stamping, welding and forming.

The plant produces automotive frame components for the Honda plant in Alliston. Tilson was provided with an inside look at the press installation, die and coil handling, overhead cranes and welding operations.

“This is a most impressive manufacturing facility,” said Tilson. “I am extremely proud to have a production site such as this operating in my riding.”
