Spring Home Shows Coming Soon to Dufferin-Caledon

March 04, 2019

It’s been a long winter, but one of the first signs of spring quickly approaching is the upcoming home shows here in Dufferin-Caledon. They are a welcome and encouraging sign of the nice, warm weather to come and the many home and garden projects we’re anxious to tackle.  There are two fantastic spring home shows coming up over the next two months – one in Dufferin and one in Caledon. They’re both an excellent source of ideas, as well as an opportunity to access local products and services to meet every aspect of your spring projects.

The first spring home show coming up is the 22nd annual Orangeville Lions Home and Garden Show taking place from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Orangeville Fairgrounds (247090 Side Road 5, Mono, ON). In 2019, visitors to this show can anticipate 220 booths presented by 150 vendors offering their products and services ranging from renovations; heating and air conditioning; local real estate; landscaping; to gardening; as well as the presence of information booths on local services and local artisans.

The renowned Orangeville Lions Food Booth will be once again returning to the show offering tasty show favourites, such as: hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage on a bun, and their infamous French fries. You can also feel good about knowing that all proceeds of the show assist the Orangeville Lions Club to continue their most important work in the community, including: Family Transition Place; Choices Youth Shelter; Guide Dogs of Canada; Big Brothers and Sisters; Camp Dorset – Dialysis Retreat; and Headwaters Health Care Centre. Both admission and parking are free. For more information on this home show, please visit http://orangevillelions.org/2019-orangeville-home-garden-show

The next can’t miss home show to attend this spring is the annual Caledon Spring Home Show, presented by the Caledon Chamber of Commerce, taking place from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Albion-Bolton Community Centre (150 Queen Street South, Bolton). In 2019, visitors can once again look forward to a ‘shop local experience’ where many booths can be found, offering local products and services by outstanding vendors covering all of your spring home and garden projects and goals. You can also expect impressive displays to help you visualize your plans.

In addition to strolling through fantastic vendor displays, visitors to the show may also enjoy gifts, contests, prizes, and a penny raffle throughout the weekend. Admission and parking for the Caledon Spring Home Show are both free. The show is also proudly pet friendly.
