Fall is just around the corner and this typically signals changing leaves, children returning to school, and fall fairs. The fall fair is a long-standing and beloved Canadian tradition, dating back more than a century. Fall Fairs celebrate the best of each community where they’re held by offering: amusements, harvest celebrations, carnivals, and midway entertainment for the entire family. Here in Dufferin-Caledon, we are fortunate to have many fall fairs to enjoy during the month of September.

The Orangeville Agricultural Society will be hosting its 158th Annual Fall Fair at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. The fair will open on September 2nd and will conclude on September 5th. This year’s fair will include: a horse pull competition, a giant midway, a 4-H Dufferin-Wellington Holstein Show, a truck and tractor pull, a draft horse show, and a town crier competition.
